Tour Details

Our tour starts in Christopher Park to discuss early U.S. LGBTQ history.

We then move to The Stonewall Inn to learn the history of The Stonewall Inn and The Uprising Night. We also dedicate a portion of this stop to the personal history of Stormé DeLarverie, the heroine of the Uprising.

We then go into the National Monument Visitor Center (if the tour starts at 3 pm and earlier, Tuesday through Sunday, as the Visitor Center closes at 4 pm.)

We give the tour group best practices before going inside the Visitor Center to get the most out of the Visitor Center.

We then go to the original location of the Oscar Wilde Memorial Bookshop for its history.

We then have a stop at the famous Gay St. sign for its history.

We then have a stop dedicated to the history of the Rainbow Pride Flag and the Transgender Flag.

We then go to the original location of the start of the first Pride March to give the history of the March.

We then go to Julius Bar for the history of the first Sip-In protests there.

We then have a stop dedicated to Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, and the history of STAR.

We then have a stop honoring President Barack Obama and all he has done for the community during his presidency.

We end our tour back in Christopher Park, with the history of the Gay Liberation Monument.
